Manga 'Barnard-jou Iwaku.' Receives Anime Adaptation
An official website announcing an anime adaptation for Yuuki Shikawa's gag manga Barnard-jou Iwaku. (Miss Bernard said.) has opened today under production studio Dream Creation. More information about the adaptation will be announced at a later date.
Barnard-jou Iwaku was initially serialized under ASCII Media Works' Dengeki Comic Japan magazine until it went defunct. It was resumed on the May 2013 issue of Ichijinsha's monthly Comic Rex magazine which was published on March 2013. The series has released two compiled manga volumes, the first one on April 19, 2013, followed by the second volume on July 27, 2015.
Synopsis
The story centers around a lazy girl's love for famous literary works along with her bookworm friends. Sawako "Miss Bernard" Machida wants to be well-versed in literature but she doesn't actually read those books! Encounter various prominent works including the Bible, The Tale of the Heike, The Great Passage, Fermat's Last Theorem and more that she hasn't read.
