'Tongari Boushi no Atelier' Reveals Main Staff, Teaser Promo for 2025
The Tongari Boushi no Atelier (Witch Hat Atelier) panel at Anime Expo 2024 revealed the main staff, a teaser promo, and a teaser visual (pictured) on Thursday. The television anime is scheduled to premiere in 2025.
Ayumu Watanabe (Summertime Render) is directing the television anime at BUG FILMS. Kairi Unabara is designing the characters, and Yuka Kitamura (Elden Ring) is composing the music.
Tongari Boushi no Atelier adapts Kamome Shirahama's fantasy adventure manga, which began in Morning Two magazine in July 2016. Kodansha published the 13th volume on February 22. Tongari Boushi no Atelier has a cumulative 5.5 million copies of its volumes in circulation.
Hiromi Satou began drawing the Tongari Boushi no Kitchen (Kitchen of Witch Hat) spin-off manga in the same magazine in November 2019. Kodansha shipped the fifth volume in October 2022.
Kodansha USA licensed both the manga and spin-off manga in English in July 2018 and November 2022, respectively. The 12th manga volume went on sale the 12th volume on May 21. The third spin-off manga volume was released in April 23, with the fourth volume scheduled to be released on July 30.
