New Cast, Trailer for 'Kaitou Queen no Yuuga na Vacances' Revealed

The official website of the Kaitou Queen no Yuuga na Vacances (Mirage Queen Vacances Élégantes) anime movie revealed new cast, a second key visual (pictured), second trailer, and the theme song on Thursday. The sequel movie will open in theaters in Japan on May 23.

Shigetaka Ikeda (Future Card Buddyfight) is directing the anime movie at East Fish Studio. Returning staff members include scriptwriter Mariko Kunisawa (Bartender: Kami no Glass), character designer Kumiko Kawashima (Boukyaku Battery sub-character design), and music composer Moe Hyuuga (Oshi ga Budoukan Ittekuretara Shinu).

Kaitou Queen wa Circus ga Osuki (Mirage Queen Prefers Circus), the prequel OVA, debuted in June 2022.

The anime adapts Kaoru Hayamine's mystery novel series, which has been published under Kodansha's Aoitori Bunko children's imprint since March 2002, featuring illustrations by K2 Shoukai. Kodansha released the 18th volume in July 2024.
