Novel 'Kyoto Teramachi Sanjou no Holmes' Gets TV Anime
A teaser website and Twitter account launched and announced that the novel series Kyoto Teramachi Sanjou no Holmes will get a TV anime to broadcast in Summer 2018. Studio Seven will be in-charge of the anime.
Synopsis:
Aoi Mashiro, who has been a high school student for six months, came to an antique store Kura in Teramachi Sanjou shopping street to estimate an antique item owned by her late grandfather. The appraiser there is good-looking, elegant, and polite, but is very sharp to the extent that he has a nickname Holmes, and he immediately realized that she brought the antique without letting her family know. Kiyotaka suggested Aoi, who is in need of money no matter what, to work in Kura as a part-timer. Since that day, Aoi experienced various incidents around Kyoto with the antiques.
Mai Mochizuki has been serializing Kyoto Teramachi Sanjou no Holmes via Everystar website. Since 2015, the series has been physically published via Futaba bunko imprint and there are currently nine volumes (including volume 6.5) released as of September 2017. The novel has received Kyotobon Taisho in 2016. A manga adaptation drawn by Ichiha Akizuki started serializing via Monthly Action magazine since October 2017, and the first volume has been released on March 12.
