'Shin Shinka no Mi: Shiranai Uchi ni Kachigumi Jinsei' Reveals Production Staff, Cast, First Promo for Winter 2023

The industry panel at this year's Crunchyroll Expo showcased the first promotional video for the Shin Shinka no Mi: Shiranai Uchi ni Kachigumi Jinsei (The Fruit of Evolution 2: Before I Knew It, My Life Had It Made) television anime on Saturday, revealing the cast and new staff. The second season adapting Miku's adventure fantasy light novel will premiere in January 2023.

Returning cast include Hiro Shimono, Tetsu Inada, and Kana Hanazawa as Seiichi Hiragi and Saria before and after her evolution, respectively. Miyuki Sawashiro (Kakegurui) is joining the cast as Destra.

Miku began writing the novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in January 2014. Futabasha began publishing the title in September of that year, featuring illustrations by U35 (Shiroi Suna no Aquatope). The 14th volume shipped on March 30. Hanashi Media licensed the light novel in English this February.

Sorano originally began drawing a manga adaptation in Web Comic Action in September 2017 before switching it to Gaugau Monster in December 2019. Futabasha will release the eighth volume on September 15.
