'Madogiwa no Totto-chan' Unveils Lead Cast, Trailer, December 8 Opening
The official website of the anime movie adapting Tetsuko Kuroyanagi's Madogiwa no Totto-chan (Totto-chan: The Little Girl at the Window) autobiographical novel revealed the lead cast, a trailer, and teaser visual (pictured) on Tuesday.
Liliana Oono is starring as the main character Totto-chan after winning an audition. The movie will premiere in theaters in Japan on December 8.

Synopsis
This engaging series of childhood recollections tells about an ideal school in Tokyo during World War II that combined learning with fun, freedom, and love. This unusual school had old railroad cars for classrooms, and it was run by an extraordinary man—its founder and headmaster, Sousaku Kobayashi—who was a firm believer in freedom of expression and activity.
