Main Cast of 'VTuber Nandaga Haishin Kiri Wasuretara Densetsu ni Natteta' Announced

The VTuber Nandaga Haishin Kiri Wasuretara Densetsu ni Natteta (VTuber Legend: How I Went Viral after Forgetting to Turn Off My Stream) stage at the Fantasia Bunko Thanksgiving 2023 event revealed the main cast on Saturday. The anime is slated to premiere in 2024.

Takuya Asaoka (Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi) is helming the anime at TNK. Hitomi Mieno (Komi-san wa, Comyushou desu.) is handling the series composition and Reina Iwasaki (Mahoutsukai Reimeiki) is designing the characters.

The anime adapts Nana Nanato's comedy light novel, which began on the Hameln and Kakuyomu websites in June and August 2020, respectively. Kadokawa began publishing the series under its Fujimi Fantasia Bunko label with illustrations by Siokazunoko in May 2021. The seventh volume went on sale on June 20, with the eighth volume scheduled for a November 17 release.

J-Novel Club licensed the light novel in English for digital release in March 2022. The fifth volume shipped on July 10.
