Original TV Anime 'Girls und Panzer' Announced

According to the official website, an original TV anime "Girls und Panzer" was announced to be aired this year. The director is Mizushima Tsutomu and it will be a school military battle action anime.

Director Mizushima said the anime doesn't show Pantsu. A manga adaptation will be serialized in Comic Flapper magazine from June.

Synopsis:
In the world, the manipulation of tanks (Sensha-do) is one of the traditional martial arts especially for girls. Miho doesn't like Sensha-do and moves to Oarai Girl's High School. But the chairperson of the student council orders Miho to participate in the national Sensha-do championship.
