Novel 'Hikuidori: Ushuu Boro Tobi-gumi' Gets TV Anime in Winter 2026
Production company Amuse opened an official website for a television anime adaptation of Shougo Imamura's Hikuidori: Ushuu Boro Tobi-gumi novel and revealed a key visual (pictured) and a teaser promo on Wednesday. Produced by animation studio SynergySP, the anime is scheduled to premiere in Winter 2026.
Imamura penned the historical novels, which began publication in March 2017 by Shoudensha. The latest volume of the Ushuu Boro Tobi-gumi series, Koi Orochi, was released in March 2022.
A manga adaptation of Hikuidori, drawn by Shinobu Seguchi, is scheduled to begin serialization in the Weekly Shounen Champion magazine in Spring 2025.
