Cast and Staff of 'Hitorigurashi no Shougakusei' Short Anime Announced

Takarajimasha, the print publisher of web manga Hitorigurashi no Shougakusei, has announced cast and staff members for the previously announced upcoming anime adaptation of the series. A key visual of the anime was also revealed.

Kouichirou Matsushita's Hitorigurashi no Shougakusei manga follows a nine-year-old girl who lives alone on the island of Enoshima in the 1980s. She owns a restaurant and lives her best and brightly with energy. Takarajimasha began publishing the manga's compiled volumes in May 2016 under its Kono Manga ga Sugoi! comics imprint.

Episodes of the anime will be released on the Tate Anime smartphone application beginning in the fall. Tate Anime plans to deliver three-minute anime shorts every weekday through its platform, available on iOS and Android devices.
