'Nakitai Watashi wa Neko wo Kaburu' Film Unveils New Key Visual, Preview, Additional Cast

The official website for Studio Colorido's original anime film Nakitai Watashi wa Neko wo Kaburu revealed two new characters, their voice actors, and a new key visual today (pictured right). Distributor Toho also uploaded a new preview featuring the film's theme song—performed by Yorushika—"Hana ni Bourei."
Joining the previously announced main cast are Kouichi Yamadera (Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu) and Ogi Hiroaki, one half of the comic duo Ogiyahagi. Yamadera will voice the anthropomorphic cat shopkeeper who holds the key to protagonist Miyo "Muge" Sasaki becoming a cat, with Hiroaki as Kusunoki-sensei, Muge and her love interest Kento Hinode's homeroom teacher.
Nakitai Watashi wa Neko wo Kaburu will be directed by Junichi Sato (Aria the Origination) and Tomotaka Shibayama (Kokoro ga Sakebitagatterunda. episode director), written by Mari Okada (Sayonara no Asa ni Yakusoku no Hana wo Kazarou), and produced by Studio Colorido—a subsidiary of Twin Engine. It is scheduled to premiere in theaters on June 5 in Japan.
