'Nippon Sangoku' Reveals Additional Cast, Staff, Opening Theme, Second Promo

The official website for the television anime adaptation of Ikka Matsuki's Nippon Sangoku manga revealed additional cast, staff, a key visual (pictured), the opening theme, and second promotional video on Tuesday. The anime is scheduled to premiere on April 7 at 12:00 a.m. on Tokyo MX and BS Nippon TV, followed by TV Aichi, Yomiuri TV, and other stations.

Singer-songwriter Tatsuya Kitani (Jujutsu Kaisen 2nd Season) is performing the opening theme "Hidane," previewed in the promotional video below.

Kazuaki Terasawa (Mahoutsukai no Yome Season 2) is directing the anime at Studio Kafka, with Takahiko Abiru (Vinland Saga) designing the characters and chief animation director.

Matsuki began serializing the post-apocalyptic drama manga on the MangaONE app and website in November 2021. Shogakukan published the sixth volume in November 2024.
