'86' Reveals Additional Staff, Promo for April 2021 Debut
The Important Information Livestream event for the television anime adaptation of Asato Asato's light novel series 86 (Eighty-Six) revealed additional staff, the first promotional video, and first key visual (pictured) on Tuesday. The anime series is scheduled to air in April 2021.

CG Production: Shirogumi
Toshimasa Ishii (Fate/Grand Order: Zettai Majuu Sensen Babylonia episode director) is helming the anime at A-1 Pictures, with Toshiya Oono (Houseki no Kuni (TV)) handling the series composition. Tetsuya Kawakami (Gakusen Toshi Asterisk) is drawing the character designs.
Asato began publishing the light novel under the Dengeki Bunko imprint in February 2017, featuring illustrations by Shirabi and mechanical designs by I-IV (Re:Creators). Kadokawa shipped the eighth volume on May 9, with the ninth volume planned for a February 10, 2021 release.
