Publishing company Futabasha announced a television anime adaptation of Shobonnu's Noumin Kanren no Skill bakka Agetetara Nazeka Tsuyoku Natta. (I Somehow Became Stronger by Raising Farming-Related Skills) light novel on Saturday. The anime series is planned for a 2022 airing.

Synopsis
Al Wayne, a young man who aims to be a top-notch farmer, has refined his farming skills and finally reached the MAX level. However, once he achieved the pinnacle of farming skills, for some reason his life began to take a drastic direction.

Shobonnu began writing the adventure fantasy series on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in August 2016. Futabasha began releasing the novel under its Monster Bunko label with illustrations by Sogawa in March 2017. The fifth and final volume shipped in November 2018. The light novel has a cumulative 800,000 copies of its volumes in print.

Aki Taruto began drawing a manga adaptation on the Monster Comics website in April 2018. Futabaha will publish the eighth volume on Monday, which includes the anime announcement on its wraparound band (pictured).
