'"Oshi no Ko"' Reveals Additional Cast, Teaser Promo, Spring 2023 Premiere

The official website of the television anime adaptation of Aka Akasaka and Mengo Yokoyari's "Oshi no Ko" manga revealed on Monday additional cast, and a promotional video.
The anime is scheduled to premiere with a 90-minute first episode in April 2023, with an extended version of the first episode opening in Japanese theaters on March 17. The website released a visual (pictured) for the screenings.

Aqua: Takeo Ootsuka (Kaze ga Tsuyoku Fuiteiru)
Young Aqua: Yumi Uchiyama (Mushoku Tensei: Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu)
Ruby: Yurie Igoma
Gorou: Kento Itou (Wotaku ni Koi wa Muzukashii)
Sarina: Tomoyo Takayanagi (Machikado Mazoku)
Daisuke Hiramaki (Selection Project) helms the anime at Doga Kobo. Jin Tanaka (Love Live! Nijigasaki Gakuen School Idol Doukoukai) is handling the series composition and Kanna Hirayama (Kanojo, Okarishimasu) is designing the characters.
Akasaka and Yokoyari began serializing the music drama manga in Young Jump magazine in April 2020. Shueisha shipped the seventh volume on February 18 and will release the eighth volume on June 17.
Shueisha began publishing the manga in English on its Manga Plus platform on April 20. Yen Press licensed the manga in English on July 1 and is scheduled to release the first volume on January 17.
