Light Novel 'Unnamed Memory' Gets TV Anime in 2023
Publisher Kadokawa announced on Tuesday a television anime adaptation of Kuji Furumiya's Unnamed Memory light novel and revealed the main cast, staff, and a teaser visual (pictured). The anime is scheduled to premiere in 2023.
Yoshiki Nakajima (Plunderer) and Atsumi Tanezaki (Mahoutsukai no Yome) are starring as Oscar and Tinasha, respectively.

Furumiya began writing the fantasy romance story on his personal website in 2008 before posting on the Shousetsuka ni Narou starting in September 2012. Kadokawa published the story in six volumes with its Dengeki no Shin Bungei imprint, featuring illustrations by chibi from September 2019 to April 2021.
Naoki Etsuma began serializing a manga adaptation on the Monthly Dengeki Daioh magazine in September 2020. Kadokawa shipped the third volume on June 10, with the fourth volume scheduled to release on January 10.
Yen Press licensed the light novel and manga in English. The sixth and final volume of the light novel released on October 18, while the second manga volume is scheduled to ship on February 21.
Synopsis
"My wish as champion is for you to descend the tower and be my wife." Climbing a deadly tower, Oscar seeks the power of its master, the Witch of the Azure Moon. He hopes her incredible magic can break a curse that will kill any woman he takes for a wife. When the prince sees how beautiful Tinasha is, though, he has a better idea—since she's surely strong enough to survive his curse, she should just marry him instead! Tinasha isn't keen on the idea, but agrees to live with Oscar in the royal castle for a year while researching the spell placed on the prince.
