'Hikuidori: Ushuu Boro Tobi-gumi' Unveils Additional Cast

The official website for the television anime of Shougo Imamura's Ushuu Boro Tobi-gumi historical novel series revealed additional cast on Friday. The anime, produced by SynergySP, is scheduled to begin airing in January 2026 on CBC and TBS's nationwide "Agaru Anime" programming block on Sundays at 11:30 p.m.

Imamura began penning the historical novels under Shoudensha in March 2017. The latest volume in the Ushuu Boro Tobi-gumi series, Koi Orochi, was released in March 2022.

A manga adaptation of Hikuidori, drawn by Shinobu Seguchi, began serialization in the Weekly Shounen Champion magazine in Spring 2025 and the second volume was released on November 7.
