'Kami wa Game ni Ueteiru.' Unveils Main Cast, Staff, 2024 Debut

Kadokawa opened an official website for the television anime adaptation of Kei Sazane's Kami wa Game ni Ueteiru. (Gods' Game We Play) light novel on Friday, revealing the main cast, staff, a teaser visual (pictured), and teaser promo. The anime series will premiere in 2024.

Nobunaga Shimazaki (Blue Lock) and Akari Kitou (Kaminaki Sekai no Kamisama Katsudou) are starring as Fay and Leoleshe, respectively.

Sazane began penning the game-themed fantasy novel on the Kakuyomu website in September 2020. Kadokawa began printing the series through its MF Bunko J label in January 2021, featuring illustrations by Toiro Tomose. The sixth volume shipped on January 25, with the seventh volume planned for a July 25 release.

Monthly Comic Alive began serializing a manga adaptation by Kapiko Toriumi in August 2021. Kadokawa published the second volume on April 21.
