Cast Members for 'Tiger Mask W' Announced
Cast members for the upcoming Fall 2016 TV anime Tiger Mask W were announced today during TV Asahi's Summer Festival held at Roppongi Summer Station. The series is scheduled to be aired on TV Asahi on Saturdays at midnight, starting this October.
Naoto Azuma (Tiger Mask): Taku Yashiro (Mayoiga)
Takuma Fujii (Tiger the Dark): Yuuichirou Umehara (Young Black Jack)
Haruna Takaoka: Suzuko Mimori (Danganronpa 3: The End of Kibougamine Gakuen - Zetsubou-hen)
Kazuchika Odaka: Masakazu Morita (Tiger & Bunny)
Hiroshi Tanahashi: Kenichi Suzumura (Uta no☆Prince-sama♪ Maji Love 1000%)
The anime series will adapt the wrestling manga Tiger Mask, which is written by Ikki Kajiawara and drawn by Naoki Tsuji, and it is expected that the adaptation to continue its storyline. The series received a 105-episode anime adaptation in 1969, as well as a 33-episode adaptation in 1981. The third and upcoming adaptation will commemorate studio Toei Animation's 60th anniversary.
