'Osomatsu-san Movie' Gets Original Short Anime

Osomatsu-san Movie page of dTV has launched a page revealing a short side story series of the movie. Titled Eiga no Osomatsu-san Gekijou Koukai Kinen Original Tanpen Gekijou (Osomatsu-san Movie Original Short Movie Commemorating Movie Release), the series will be total of seven episodes and describe sextuplets' life before what's happening in the movie, which will be available on March 1 through 15 at 12:00 p.m.

An event to pre-screen the movie as well as Side Story series will be held on March 7. There is also a special show where Kenichi Suzumura (Iyami) and Miyu Irino (Todomatsu Matsuno) went to France and advertise the movie will be available via dTV on February 22 and later release as Blu-ray and DVD on March 13.

Osomatsu-san is the sequel to Osomatsu-kun, which received two new seasons in Fall 2015 and Fall 2017 by Studio Pierrot for 25 episodes each. The series has also received various special episodes and programs, such as the collaboration with Japan Racing Association, Daiichi, and alcohol commercials. The movie is scheduled to premiere on Japanese theater on March 15.
