'Egao no Taenai Shokuba desu' Announces Additional Cast
The official website of the Egao no Taenai Shokuba desu. (A Mangaka's Weirdly Wonderful Workplace) television anime announced three additional cast on Thursday. The anime series adapting Kuzushiro's comedy workplace manga will premiere on Tokyo MX, Iwate Menkoi TV, BS Asahi, and AT-X in October 2025.

Shiori Asakura: Iori Saeki (Shokei Shoujo no Virgin Road)
Ren Takizawa: Mamiko Noto (Kidou Senshi Gundam: Suisei no Majo)
Wakako Tatsunami: Kikuko Inoue (Komi-san wa, Comyushou desu.)
Kaoru Suzuki (Doukyonin wa Hiza, Tokidoki, Atama no Ue.) is directing the anime at Voil. Mio Inoue (Slow Start) is handling the series composition, and Kana Miyai (Kusuriya no Hitorigoto sub-character design) is designing the characters. Kei Haneoka (Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai) and Hironori Doi are composing the music.
Kuzushiro (Inugami-san to Nekoyama-san) originally published the manga as a one-shot in Kiss in February 2019 before beginning regular serialization on the Comic Days app and website in May that year. Kodansha published the 12th volume on April 18.
