Vexille in Theaters in 2008
FUNimantion announced Vexille will open in theaters and DVD in August 2008. For those who crave cg futuristic robot anime then you will be looking forward to this. Vexille is from the talent behind Appleseed (2004) and The Matrix Reloaded.
The story is set in 2067 and follows the title character as a commander in a US team sent out to investigate intelligence of Japan developing banned technology and illegal robotic research.
The film will premiere at the Locarno Film Festival (Aug 1-11) and will also be shown at North American Film Festivals in 2008.
