Second Season of 'Itai no wa Iya nano de Bougyoryoku ni Kyokufuri Shitai to Omoimasu.' Reveals Production Staff, Winter 2023 Premiere
The official website of the Itai no wa Iya nano de Bougyoryoku ni Kyokufuri Shitai to Omoimasu. (BOFURI: I Don't Want to Get Hurt, so I'll Max Out My Defense) anime series revealed on Tuesday that the second season will premiere in January 2023. The website also revealed the cast, production staff, and the first promotional video.
The cast are all returning from the first season.

The anime series adapts Yuumikan's adventure comedy light novel, which they originally launched on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in May 2016. Kadokawa began publishing the novel in September 2017, featuring artworks by Koin (Haiyore! Nyaruko-san). The 14th volume shipped on August 10.
Jirou Oimoto began serializing a manga adaptation in Comp Ace magazine in May 2018. Kadokawa published the sixth volume on August 26.
