'Touhai: Ura Rate Mahjong Touhai Roku' Unveils Main Cast for Fall 2024
The official website of the Touhai: Ura Rate Mahjong Touhai Roku television anime unveiled the main cast members on Tuesday. The television anime is set to premiere in October 2024.

Jun Hatori (Taishou Otome Otogibanashi) is directing the television anime at East Fish Studio. Mariko Kunisawa (Boushoku no Berserk) is handling the series composition, and Sayaka Anezaki (JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken: Ougon no Kaze design assistance) is designing the characters. Yuusuke Shirato (Gyakuten Sekai no Denchi Shoujo). Yuuki Kishida (Idoly Pride) is composing the music.
The anime adapts Kouji Shinasaka's strategy game manga, which began in Young Champion Magazine from June 2006 to April 2011. He then drew two manga sequels titled Hitobashira-hen and Minagoroshi-hen. Akita Shoten shipped the tenth and final volume of Minagoroshi-hen in August 2021.
Shinasaka began serializing a new sequel manga titled Touhai: Cold Girl in Young Champion Magazine in September 2021. The sixth volume went on sale on January 18, and the seventh volume is scheduled to be released on June 19.
