'Kaijuu 8-gou' Unveils Additional Cast
The official website of the Kaijuu 8-gou (Kaiju No. 8) television anime unveiled additional cast members on Friday. The anime is set to premiere in April 2024.

Haruichi Izumo: Keisuke Koumoto (RobiHachi)
Iharu Furuhashi: Yuuki Shin (Uchi no Kaisha no Chiisai Senpai no Hanashi)
Shigeyuki Miya (Onihei) and Tomomi Kamiya (Rokuhou-dou Yotsuiro Biyori) are directing the anime at Production I.G. Ichirou Ookouchi (Kidou Senshi Gundam: Suisei no Majo) is in charge of the script and series composition. Tetsuya Nishio (Vampire in the Garden) is designing the characters and is the chief animation director. Yuuta Bandou (Ryuu to Sobakasu no Hime) is composing the music.
The anime adapts Naoya Matsumoto's action sci-fi manga, which began serialization on the Shounen Jump+ website in July 2020. Shueisha shipped the 11th volume on December 4.
VIZ Media licensed the manga in English in February 2021. The eighth volume was released on October 10, with the ninth volume scheduled to be released on January 2. Shueisha's Manga Plus platform also simulpublishes it in multiple languages, including English, Spanish, Thai, Indonesian, Russian, and French.
