'Shinchou Yuusha: Kono Yuusha ga Ore Tueee Kuse ni Shinchou Sugiru' Reveals Lead Cast
The official website of the Shinchou Yuusha: Kono Yuusha ga Ore Tueee Kuse ni Shinchou Sugiru television anime announced two main cast members on Monday. The anime adaptation of Light Tuchihi's adventure fantasy light novel will begin airing in October 2019. A teaser promotional video for the series was also posted by Kadokawa.

Masayuki Sakoi (Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online) is directing the anime at White Fox, featuring character designs by Mai Toda (Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryokou). Kenta Ihara (Youjo Senki) is in charge of series composition.
Tsuchihi launched the novel on the Kakuyomu website in June 2016. Kadokawa began releasing the series with illustrations by Saori Toyota (Densetsu no Yuusha no Densetsu) in February 2017. The fifth volume was published in November 2018.
A manga adaptation by Koyuki (Log Horizon: Nishikaze no Ryodan) has been serialized in Dragon Age magazine since last November. Kadokawa shipped the first compiled volume on May 9.
Yen Press licensed the light novel in English in November 2018 and published the first volume on June 18. The second volume is planned for an October 22 release.
