Studio Gaina Announces 'Hulaing Babies☆Petit' Short Anime
The official website of studio Gaina announced that a short anime titled Hulaing Babies☆Petit is in production. It is scheduled to premiere in January, with a runtime of 80 seconds per episode. More information will be announced at a later time.
Hulaing Babies Petit is a spin-off series to the short January 2019 anime Hulaing Babies that features chibi versions of the characters. Cast and staff members are reprising their roles.
The Hulaing Babies project was initially announced by Yoshinori Asao, the president of studio Gaina (then Fukushima Gainax), at the Magical Fukushima event in 2016. The anime is set in Iwaki city, and Asao commented that he hoped the anime would generate some interest in the local area.
