'Yaneura no Rudger' Announces Additional Pair of Cast

The official website for the Yaneura no Rudger (The Imaginary) anime movie revealed a pair of additional cast on Monday. The movie is scheduled to open in Japanese theaters on December 15.

Akira Terao and Hana Sugisaki (Cider no You ni Kotoba ga Wakiagaru) are joining the cast as the Old Dog and Aurora, respectively.

Yoshiyuki Momose (Ni no Kuni) is directing the movie at Studio Ponoc. Yoshiaki Nishimura (Omoide no Marnie) is serving as producer.

The movie is based on A.F. Harrold's The Imaginary novel. Bloomsbury Publishing released the children's fantasy novel with illustrations by Emily Gravett (Wolves, Little Mouse's Big Book of Fears) in October 2014.
