'Ao no Orchestra' Reveals Additional Cast
The official website of the television anime adapting Makoto Akui's Ao no Orchestra (Blue Orchestra) manga revealed additional cast members on Thursday. The anime is scheduled to premiere on April 9 at 5:00 p.m. on NHK E TV.

Mari Tateishi: Konomi Kohara (Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunousen)
Chika Yonezawa: Kaori Maeda (Love Live! Nijigasaki Gakuen School Idol Doukoukai)
Osamu Shibata: Jun Fukushima (Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!)
Mother Aono: Chiwa Saitou (Bakemonogatari)
Takeda-sensei: Hayato Kaneko (Kengan Ashura)
Hiroaki Ayukawa: Daisuke Ono (JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken Part 3: Stardust Crusaders)
Seiji Kishi (Ansatsu Kyoushitsu) is directing the television anime at Nippon Animation. Yuuko Kakihara (Tsuki ga Kirei) is in charge of the series composition and script. Kazuaki Morita (Youkoso Jitsuryoku Shijou Shugi no Kyoushitsu e) is the character designer. Akira Kosemura (Summer Ghost) is composing the music.
Akui began drawing the music manga on the MangaONE application in April 2017 and in Ura Sunday magazine the following month. Shogakukan published the 11th volume on March 31.
