Manga 'Paripi Koumei' Gets TV Anime for Spring 2022

Avex Pictures announced a television anime adaptation of Yuuto Yotsuba and Ryou Ogawa's Paripi Koumei (Ya Boy Kongming!) manga on Wednesday, revealing the main cast, production staff, a teaser visual (pictured), and teaser promo. The anime series, produced by P.A. Works, is scheduled to premiere in April 2022.
Ryoutarou Okiayu (Asobi Asobase) and Kaede Hondo (Zombieland Saga) are starring as Zhuge Kongming and Eiko Tsukimi, respectively. Tsukimi's singing voice will be announced at a later date. This marks the first time P.A. Works is adapting a manga title.

Synopsis

Yotsuba and Ogawa began serializing the comedy manga on the Comic Days web magazine in December 2019 and will transfer it to Weekly Young Magazine on November 22. Kadokawa published the sixth volume on June 14, with the seventh volume shipping on Thursday.
Kodansha US licensed the manga in English in May for digital release and published the fifth volume on October 5. The sixth volume is scheduled for release on December 7.
