'Hanarokushou ga Akeru Hi ni' Movie Announces Additional Cast Pair
The official website of the Hanarokushou ga Akeru Hi ni (A New Dawn) anime movie announced a pair of additional cast on Wednesday. The movie will open in theaters in Japan in 2025.
Voice actors Miyu Irino (Karasu wa Aruji wo Erabanai, Platinum End) is joining the cast as Sentarou Obinata. Actor Takashi Okabe (Tora ni Tsubasa live-action drama, Sunny: Our Hearts Beat Together live-action movie) is playing as Eitarou Obinata.
Original creator Yoshitoshi Shinomiya (Kimi no Na wa. episode director) is helming the movie and penning the script. Utsushita (Tengoku Daimakyou) is designing the characters and Shuta Hasunuma is composing the music. Asmik Ace, Miyu Productions, and Studio Outrigger are credited for production.
Synopsis
The Obinata Fireworks Shop factory is getting prepared for an administrative action for confiscation tomorrow. It has been six years since Keitarou has been holed up in a closed-down factory creating fireworks by himself, chasing after an illusion of his father who vanished. It is a story about three young people who overcome the extreme weather conditions, disasters, and environmental problems imposed on them and establish their own identities.
