'Maou 2099' Reveals Main Staff, Teaser Promo for Fall 2024

The Maou 2099 (Demon Lord 2099) special stage at AnimeJapan 2024 revealed the main staff, an additional cast, and a teaser promo on Saturday. The anime series produced by J.C.Staff will air in Fall 2024.
Voice actress Hana Hishikawa (Dekoboko Majo no Oyako Jijou) is joining the cast as Takahashi.

The anime series adapt Daigo Murasaki's sci-fi fantasy light novel of the same name. Murasaki won the Grand Prize at the 33rd Fantasia Taisho with the title Ken to Maou no Cyberpunk in 2020. He renamed the work to Maou 2099 and began publishing it under the Fujimi Fantasia Bunko label in January 2021 with illustrations by Kureta. Kadokawa published the third volume on June 20.
Shounen Ace Plus began serializing a manga adaptation by Kiiro Akashiro in November 2021, which discontinued last June. A new manga adaptation by Yutaka Sakurai launched in the same magazine in March 2023. The first volume went on sale in October that year.
Yen Press licensed the light novel in English in July 2021 and released the first volume in March 2022. The second volume shipped in June 2022.
