'Hakozume: Kouban Joshi no Gyakushuu' Reveals Pair of Additional Cast
The official website for the television anime adaptation of Miko Yasu's Hakozume: Koban Joshi no Gyakushuu (Police in a Pod) manga revealed two additional cast members and a new key visual (pictured) on Friday. The anime is scheduled to premiere on January 5 at 11:30 pm on AT-X followed by Tokyo MX, KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, TV Aichi, and BS NTV.

Deputy Chief: Kendou Kobayashi (Michiko to Hatchin)
Houjo Tamotsu: Rikiya Koyama (Detective Conan)
Yuuzou Satou (Gyakkyou Burai Kaiji: Ultimate Survivor) is helming the anime at Madhouse, and Ryuunosuke Kingetsu (Ulysses: Jehanne Darc to Renkin no Kishi) is handling the series composition. Kei Tsuchiya (Laidbackers) is designing the characters.
Yasu began serializing the slice of life police manga in Morning magazine in November 2017. Kodansha shipped the 18th volume on August 23. Kodansha US licensed the manga digitally in English on May 27 and published the sixth volume on November 9.
