'Kagami no Kojou' Unveils Main Staff, Teaser Trailer [Update 7/28]
Shochiku opened an official website for the anime movie adaptation of Mizuki Tsujimura's Kagami no Kojou (The Solitary Castle in the Mirror) novel on Thursday, revealing the director, animation studio, and a teaser trailer. The movie will open in Japan in Winter 2022.
Keiichi Hara (Birthday Wonderland) is directing the movie at A-1 Pictures. Shochiku is in charge of distribution.
Tsujimura's novel was originally published by Poplar Publishing in May 2017, which was re-released as a two-volume paperback edition in March 2021. A manga adaptation with illustrations by Tomo Taketomi was serialized in Ultra Jump magazine across five volumes from December 2019 to May 2022.

The official website of the Kagami no Kojou (The Solitary Castle in the Mirror) anime movie revealed the main staff, cast, a poster visual (pictured), and a second teaser trailer on Thursday. The movie is scheduled to open in Japan on December 23.
Actress Ami Touma (Itsumo Muzukashi-souna Hon Bakari Yonderu Hidaka-kun live-action movie) is starring as the protagonist Kokoro.
