'Neko ni Tensei shita Ojisan' Announces Main Cast
The official website for the television anime adaptation of Yajima's Neko ni Tensei shita Ojisan (The Old Man Who Was Reincarnated as a Cat) manga revealed on Wednesday the main cast and a key visual (pictured). The anime is scheduled to premiere in October 2024 on Fuji TV's Pokapoka television program.

Oji-san: Takahiro Kameoka
Pun-chan: Kana Hanazawa (Bakemonogatari)
President: Tomokazu Seki (Fate/stay night)
Itoyanagi-sensei: Kenjirou Tsuda (Gokushufudou)
Rio (Barakamon chief animation director) and Takahiro Kawakoshi (Golden Kamuy assistant director) are directing the anime at Studio Eight Color. Rio is also designing the characters.
Yajima began drawing the comedy manga on their X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram accounts in February 2023. Kadokawa began serializing the manga on its ComicWalker service in October 2023 and released the second volume on May 1.
