Football TV Anime 'Ginga e Kick off!!' Announced

According to Nikkan Sports, NHK has announced a new TV anime series "Ginga e Kick-off!!". It's based on Kawabata Hiroto's novel "Gunga no World Cup" and the first episode will be aired on April 7th. The protagonist is a boy who had belonged to a football club, which was dissolved due to the lack of members. He meets a professional player of the women's football league and decides to reorganize the club.
