Light Novel 'Seiyuu Radio no Uraomote' Receives TV Anime
The official Twitter of Kou Nigatsu's Seiyuu Radio no Uraomote light novel announced a television anime adaptation on Wednesday, revealing the main cast pair.
Miku Itou (Adachi to Shimamura) and Moe Toyota (BanG Dream!) are starring as Yasumi Utatane and Yuuhi Yuugure, respectively.
Nigatsu began publishing the girls love comedy light novel under ASCII Media Works's Dengeki Bunko imprint in February 2020, featuring illustrations by Mizore Saba. Kadokawa shipped the seventh volume on June 10, with the eighth volume scheduled to be released on January 7.
Umemi Makimoto serialized a manga adaptation in Dengeki Maoh from March 2020 to July 2021. Kadokawa released the third and final volume in September 2021.
Synopsis
Yuuhi Yuugure and Yasumi Utatane, two high school voice actresses who just happened to attend the same school and coincidentally got placed into the same class, are the two hosts of a radio weekly program. As fellow classmates and voice actresses, they show all the listeners their great friendship! At least, on the surface. In reality, the quiet girl Chika and the gyaru Yumiko are complete opposites. And they absolutely cannot stand each other. Off air, chaos and insults erupt. On air, they're the best of friends. Just where will this tumultuous relationship lead them? (Source: MU)
