Season Two of 'Shuumatsu no Walküre' Unveils Additional Cast

The official website of the Shuumatsu no Walküre II (Record of Ragnarok II) original net anime unveiled additional cast members and a key visual (pictured above) on Saturday. The anime is set to broadcast on April 15 at 12:30 a.m. on Tokyo MX and BS 11, followed by MBS. The first ten episodes were released worldwide on Netflix on January 26, and the remaining five are scheduled for a 2023 release.

Masao Ookubo (Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood episode director) is directing the anime at Graphinica and Yumeta Company. Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken) and Yuka Yamada (Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon) are handling the series composition. Masaki Satou (Magic Kaito) is the character designer. Yasuharu Takanashi (Kengan Ashura) is composing the music.

The anime series adapts adapts Shinya Umemura, Takumi Fukui, and illustrator Ajichika's dark fantasy battle action manga, which began in Monthly Comic Zenon in November 2017. Coamix published the 17th volume in December 2022.

VIZ Media licensed the manga in English in June 2021. The fifth volume went on sale on January 17, and the sixth volume is set for an April 18 release.
