TV Anime 'Wake Up, Girls! Shin Shou' Announces New Seiyuu Unit
Additional voice cast members for the upcoming TV anime Wake Up, Girls! Shin Shou were announced on Sunday at Wonderful Hobby Life for You!! 26, an event within Wonder Festival 2017 (Summer). A new key visual featuring three newly announced characters was also revealed.
The characters form a new unit called Run Girls, Run! and will be voiced by three winners out of approximately 2,000 candidates who entered the 3rd Anisong Vocal Audition held by content production company Avex and the talent agency 81 Produce. In the story, the members of Run Girls, Run! are middle school students in Sendai who long to become idols.

A synopsis of Wake Up, Girls! Shin Shou was also uploaded to the official website. Set after the events of the 2015 movie Wake Up, Girls! Beyond the Bottom, the new series follows the lives of Wake Up, Girls! members as the idol industry enters a recession.
Wake Up, Girls! Shin Shou begins airing in October 2017 on TV Tokyo, Sendai Television, AT-X, and other networks.
