Driver's High

The famous L1 racecar driver Leonardo "Leo" Lombardi is on a winner's high, basking in success and fame. He is on the path to claim the world champion title for the second year in a row, and his wonderful and supportive boyfriend of five years, J.J., follows him everywhere as one of the mechanics on his team. However, seemingly out of nowhere, J.J. breaks up with Leo with no signs of wanting to get back together. With the sudden breakup, Leo is forced to look inward and recognize his mistakes, though he believes he is incapable of wrongdoing. Despite the glaring issues with his wild behavior, arrogance, and complacent disinterest in J.J.'s life and career, Leo struggles to change. Still, Leo realizes how much J.J. means to him and resolves to do everything he can to improve, return on the track to victory, and win back the heart of the one he loves.
