Black Blood

Ethan is what is known as a Black Blood, a soldier who has been made into a top-of-the-line cyborg in order to dominate the battlefield. However, when the stress of war becomes too much to bear, he chooses to take a position providing security detail for scientists researching on the remote planet Peridot. There, he meets Mikhail, a young botanist that he starts to care for despite his emotions being limited to certain parameters. As the two explore Peridot and learn more about its natural environment, Ethan starts to wonder if he still can experience love.
