Synopsis
Disowned teen Sadame finds purpose after hearing distorted piano, sparking musical passion.
Sadame Hino's life has always been dictated by his stern father. Though he was destined to follow in his father's footsteps and become a physician, Sadame realizes that is not what he wishes for himself. To ensure that future can never come to pass, the boy purposely fails every one of his high school entrance exams, sending his father into a fit of rage as he disowns his son. Now freeloading off a stranger, Sadame has no idea what to do with his life. When his roommate has to move back home, Sadame is forced to search for a new place to stay. Upon entering a music store, the distorted sound of a piano being played captures Sadame's attention, igniting in him a desire to try and recreate the melody—which is a more daunting task than he realizes.
