Synopsis
Single father and son adopt mysterious intelligent cat, transforming their quiet life and family dynamic.
Shuuichirou is a renowned songwriter and devoted single father to his young son Botan. When Botan, feeling lonely, asks for a pet cat, his father initially refuses. However, the determined boy brings home a mysterious feline companion who seems unusually intelligent and expressive. This new addition to their household brings unexpected changes to their quiet life, as both father and son find themselves drawn to the enigmatic cat in different ways. As their unusual family dynamic begins to shift, questions arise about the nature of this peculiar pet and what it might mean for their future together.
Shuuichirou is a famous song-writer and a father to Botan from a failed marriage. Botan is lonely and asks if he can have a cat. Shuuichiro tells him no, but Botan brings one home anyway...a very human-looking cat who is actually a man who Shuuichiro slept with before named Umekichi! Will Umekichi get to stay? Will Shuuichirou figure out what Umekichi reminds him of his past? And will he sleep with him again even though he's Botan's pet?
