Virgin Love

Shouko Shouji is a 26-year-old woman who has already established a very high reputation among her peers. Having been seen as mature, popular, and easygoing, it comes as no surprise that her coworkers at her company quickly find her reliable. Despite all that, Shouko feels deeply insecure, as she has never kissed a man, let alone ever been in a romantic relationship before. Trying to change this, Shouko increasingly browses the beauty section of her local bookstore for advice. One day, Shouko finds that the bookstore has a brand new self-help section dedicated to women created by Yuki Tanaka, an employee inspired by Shouko's constant patronage. However, Shouko is flustered by the display and accidentally reveals her insecurities to Yuki, who can empathize and even relate to her situation. Inspired by his honesty, Shouko suggests that the two apply for The Love House—a limited residential project aimed at those down on their luck when it comes to love. As the pair is selected for the program, Shouko begins to wonder if she can truly overcome her anxieties through this experience.
