Synopsis
Sumi resurrects AI clone of dead brother Haru, but it consumes his memories, leaving him emotionally conflicted.
Sumi lost his brother Haru in an accident three months ago. While he was suffering from his brother's death, he learned of the existence of "Happiness," an AI mimicry creature that uses "memories" to mimic the deceased. He applied to be an experimental monitor in the hopes of meeting Haru once more. When he activated Happiness model number RE614, a clone human appeared that looked just like Haru. He felt uneasy as RE614 became more and more like his brother not only in appearance but also in personality every time he fed it Chiharu's "things with memories," its staple food. Is there any point in keeping RE614 alive if it continues to devour his precious memories...? Sumi was no longer sure of his own feelings. (Source: cmoa.jp)
