Synopsis
Future Okabe warns present self via D-Mail of impending catastrophe, forcing new time-altering mission to prevent chaos.
In the aftermath of recent events in the Steins;Gate worldline, Okabe Rintarou experiences a sudden onset of Reading Steiner—the disorienting sensation that signals a shift in reality. Following this episode, he receives a mysterious D-Mail from his future self, warning of an impending catastrophe that threatens to plunge the world into chaos far beyond anything previously faced. Tasked with preventing this dark future, Okabe must embark on a new mission that will challenge everything he thought he knew about time, fate, and the consequences of altering destiny.
Around a month after the time machine disappearance in Steins;Gate worldline, Okabe is struck with the familiar vertigo, Reading Steiner, and after the vertigo disappears, he gets a D-Mail from 2025 Okabe Rintarou that explains this worldline is in dangerous future which is worse than Dystopia or World War III. His mission is to retrieve an IBN 5100 from a person known as Neidthardt. (Source: Steins;Gate Wiki)
