Synopsis
Amane's touch-hearing power brands him a monster; he and his ailing mother hide in the forest, still seeking a cure.
Amane is a young boy living with his mother in a small village. He has always believed himself to be normal, but he has a power that nobody else has. Should he touch a person or animal with his bare hands, he is able to hear their inner voice. Once his friends discover this power, they spread vicious rumors about his monstrousness, forcing his mother to flee with him into the forest. Despite holding onto the hope of a cure, after many years his powers remain strong, and his mother’s health starts to deteriorate...
