Rita was born with a golden eye, a rare and coveted trait that has all but vanished from the face of the earth. She was captured to be sold as a slave, and owing to her trauma, Rita lost her ability to speak. On the night she is about to be auctioned, Rita is saved by a charismatic young man and his accomplice who expertly dispatch the slavers that pursue them. In the safety of a boat, Rita's mysterious savior introduces himself as Albert Lorenzi, the leader of a mafia organization.
