Ordet was an animation studio founded by Yamamoto Yutaka and several other former Kyoto Animation staffers after Yamamoto's demise from Kyoto Animation in August 2007 after being fired as Lucky Star's director. Its headquarters was located in Miyakojima-ku, Osaka, Japan. The studio's main business was production and sale of services and goods related to animation. The studio did a lot of subcontract work on episodes for Hal Film Maker and A-1 Pictures. On 25.03.2016 Yamamoto Yutaka stepped down as the representative director and Matsuura Hiroaki took over the role. However, the studio stopped activities soon after with the deletion of phone number, e-mail and web shop from their official homepage. The company was officially absorbed into Ultra Super Pictures starting 01.03.2025 by the joint decision of shareholders.
