The protagonist's wife from the "Presence" segment. In her youth, she is a young, career-oriented woman. Because she is emotionally distant, independent, and busy, her husband feels incredibly isolated. This loneliness drives him to secretly build a lifelike robot girl in a remote forest shed to act as a submissive companion. Decades later, after growing old, she seems much more affectionate to her husband than when she was young. In the final moments of the "Presence" segment, she steps outside and watches her husband dissolve into thin air as he takes the robot's hand. Her expression of complete shock and heartbreak proves that she did care about him in her own way, making his lifelong flight into mechanical fantasy all the more tragic.
